The Rutgers University Scarlet Knights started out their 2007 season undefeated by handing Buffalo they're asses to them. First time in the school's history did the seasons opening home game have a packed house. Red as far as the eye could see, wish I could have gone but it was fun to watch on TV.
I really hope the success of the football team last season and this opens peoples eyes to Rutgers. It's a first-class institution of higher learning rich with an incredible history and famously the only school in the nation to ever turn down an invitation to the Ivy League. Take that, Princeton.

What is the most interesting class you have ever taken?

The class I took in my final semester on the life of Thomas Edison was amazing. Really interesting stuff.
Yea, so it's finally happening. I'm actually receiving a college degree! I don't know why I keep feeling so surprised, I worked hard for this. Ok, well not TOO hard. My graduating GPA is only a 3.03 but still that's not half bad! Anyway, I know some people were thinking about coming to the ceremony and it's easier to post the info here than to forward it to the people that wanted it.

Anyone is welcome to attend the ceremony, so if you'd like to that would mean a lot. Otherwise I'll see you at the graduation party. The date isn't firm yet, but most likely in mid-June. I'll be sure to post the info about that here too when the time comes.
Things are getting bad. We have two weeks of school left. Rather than being relieved that it's almost time for winter break, the stress of this semester seems to have snowballed into an unyielding avalanche of worry and despair. I enjoy my classes and I know I shouldn't be worrying like this but I can't help it. I've never liked finals, but I've got a doozy of a schedule coming up. Tomorrow I have a small 5 page paper and 10-15 minute presentation due in my Comparative Economics class on Israel. Then I just have classes through the 13th and after that, Exams begin. My exam schedule:
Monday 12/18 12 - 3pm: Comparative Economics, non-cumulative, 5+ short essay questions
Tuesday 12/19 12 - 3pm: American Presidency, non-cumulative, format unknown.
Wednesday 12/20 - NOTHING! Spend sleeping & studying for last two finals.
Thursday 12/21 8 - 11am: Poli & Culture, 15-20 non-cumulative short answer & 2-3 cumulative essays <-DREADING
Friday 12/22 12 - 3pm: American Economic History, cumulative, Multiple Choice & short answers
Theoretically, it's a very nice final schedule. Spread out, only one exam per day, a little break in the middle, but at this point I just want everything to be over with. I don't want to prolong this shitty feeling of doubt and uncertainty. But as we all know, time is just going to fly by and it'll be time for these before I know it. Ugh.
