So, watching the first part of the Idol finale tonight they showed a new iPod ad featuring Coldplay. Thank god they didn't use "Violet Hill." Instead they used the title track, "Viva la Vida."
Wait, hear me out. So the kid BOMBS on the show tonight, right? Knowing his fan base (people easily swayed by a cute teenybopper, ex: most of America), I wouldn't put it past the kid to have flubbed those lyrics on purpose.
Why would he do such a thing? Because he knows he could count on a sympathy vote 2-3 times larger than what he was already getting. Who is this kid's vocal coach, Karl Rove?!
HE'S MANIPULATING EVERYONE AND YOU ARE ALL FALLING FOR IT!
How about vote for someone who has talent and doesn't sound like an 80 year old woman who smoked all her life? Someone like David Cook, Jason Castro or Brooke White? Hmm?
Blake is just... even if he doesn't win, he'll still be a star. I love the way he sings, so smooth and with a little bit of swagger. Pity he didn't wear short sleeves tonight, I like it when he shows off the tats.
